Hi, I’m Til Bürgy, a passionate photographer from Düdingen, Switzerland. My journey behind the lens began with a deep fascination for storytelling through images, and I’ve since dedicated myself to capturing the essence of moments, whether they unfold on the sports field, in the heart of breaking news, or during major events.
After completing my Matura, I took an important step in my career by joining the Swiss news agency Keystone-SDA for a Volontariat in September 2024. Since then, I have had the opportunity to document a wide variety of events — from the world’s biggest sporting arenas to the largest techno party in Zurich, from the multilateralism of the UN in Geneva to federal politics in Bern. Each assignment has given me the privilege of capturing unique stories through my lens and sharing them with a broader audience.
Today, I continue my journey as an independent photographer based near Fribourg, Switzerland.
Outside of my professional work, I am always looking for fresh ways to evolve as a photographer. Exploring untold stories, embracing creative challenges, and experimenting with new techniques to keep my passion alive and my vision sharp.
