Til Bürgy, 20, is a freelance photojournalist based near Fribourg, Switzerland. His work focuses on sports, breaking news, politics, and major events, with a strong commitment to visual storytelling and the pursuit of authentic, unguarded moments.
After completing his Matura, he joined the Swiss news agency Keystone-SDA in 2024 for a one-year internship, where he covered a broad spectrum of assignments. His work ranges from international sporting events and large-scale cultural gatherings to federal politics in Bern and multilateral diplomacy at the United Nations in Geneva.
Today, he continues to work as a freelance photographer and has worked on assignment for national and international media outlets including "The New York Times", "El País", "Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ)", and "Keystone-SDA".
Driven by curiosity and a constant desire to refine his visual language, Til seeks out stories that resonate beyond the moment, combining journalistic rigor with a contemporary photographic approach.
